Seasonal Campaign

For most of us, winter is truly miserable when it comes to health – from the aches and pains of the flu to the seemingly never-ending deluge of coughs and colds. We worked to put the positivity back into everyone’s least favourite season.

Lloyds came to us with the hope of becoming the go-to pharmacy for when the temperature drops and our immune systems go down with it. They wanted to become synonymous with health at wintertime.

Our solution was to make Lloyds Pharmacy stand for a positive approach to health. Rather than the standard negative associations with winter and the aches and pains that come with it, we looked instead at the magical cosiness of this time of year. By being positive about winter, people can enjoy the fun these months can bring, whilst taking care of themselves thanks to Lloyds.

So we created a through the line campaign with a tongue-in-cheek approach to winter ailments – with slogans such as “Pain, pain go away” and “Give flu the jab”.

The response was so positive that our work has since been rolled out to over 1,500 stores across the UK.
