The story of embellishing your bubbles

Inspired by the decadence of the Royal Court of France, Chambord is a delicious French Black Raspberry Liqueur housed in a regal, orb-like bottle.

Unbeknown to a new generation of sparkling wine drinkers, it is also a colourful and glamorous way to embellish their bubbles.

Increasingly bogged down by the routines and responsibilities that come with adulthood, our challenge was to inject a dash of fun and colour into the lives – and prosecco – of 23-34 year-old female drinkers.

Targeting ‘Glamour Magpies’ – curious women already on the look out for something exciting and new – we launched our ‘When life gives you bubbles, just add Chambord’ campaign.

Using a mirror theme to visualise the upgrade from a boring glass of fizz to decadent Chambord Royale, we created a seasonal twist for each of the key sales periods including Mothers Day, Valentines Day and summer.

The campaign was rolled out across press, trade activities, PR events and digital and social channels. We also devised a host of seasonal on-trade incentives and off-trade promotions to embellish the consumer experience and put Chambord front of mind and in their basket.

Despite being intended for the UK market only, the success of the campaign has seen it run in Australia. ‘Follow the Flamingo’ and ‘When Life Gives You Bubbles’ have both out-performed all previous trade campaigns for Chambord.
