The story of the ampersand
Crabtree & Evelyn tasked us to create an in-store campaign to launch the new Fine Food range. Using the iconic ampersand that sits at the heart of the Crabtree & Evelyn brand, we created a magical topiary centrepiece to bring both elements of the range together, ‘Indulgent’ & ‘Scrumptious’.
The clipped ampersand, a beautiful nod to English eccentricity, is adorned with quirky objects that hang on and around it. A Cornish blue jug rubs shoulders with a Victorian jelly mould that rests upon a fruit picker’s ladder – bringing to life a range of products from fine teas to clotted cream fudge. A cornucopia of curiosities, a veritable feast for the eye.
The campaign idea then ran through a number of applications, including print and in-store collateral.
