Apples. A bit bland, right? Not in this story. We showed the world that Tic Tac Apple Burst was, quite literally, bursting with apple flavour.
Tic Tac wanted to launch their new Apple Burst flavour on social media, in a campaign that would stand apart from normal digital launches. But they were worried that people wouldn’t get excited about apples, a traditionally safe flavour.
We needed to give apples back their bite. So we gave Tic Tac Apple Burst a powerful, punchy narrative that was less apples, more burst.
We decided to show the raw power of real apples. Literally. Every week, we dropped a tonne of Granny Smith apples on various objects, with fans able to vote on what would face the might of an Apple Burst avalanche.
The campaign achieved over 4.6m impressions. And sales smashed it too.
